The UniFi Cloud Gateway Max is a compact desktop gateway that runs Ubiquiti's UniFi Network controller on-device along with Protect, Access and Talk. It has five 2.5GbE RJ45 ports (one WAN, four LAN), performs up to 2.3 Gbps of IPS/IDS-inspected routing, and supports 30+ UniFi devices and 300+ clients. An internal M.2 slot accepts an optional NVMe SSD (offered in No-Storage, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB configs) for local UniFi Protect NVR recording, and it is powered over USB-C with a small 0.96-inch status display.
