Wi-Fi dead spots
Coverage measured room by room, then fixed with proper mesh or a cabled access point.
Internet & Wi-Fi technician · on-site
Dropouts, dead spots, slow speeds, a router nobody understands - we come out, test the whole path and fix what's actually broken. And because Glue IT is a provider too, "it's the other lot's problem" isn't an answer we can give.
On-site across Penrith, Western Sydney & the Blue Mountains - usually same-day or next business day, from $169.60 inc GST.
Home or business, any provider. If it's between the street and your screen, it's our job.
Coverage measured room by room, then fixed with proper mesh or a cabled access point.
Line, router, cabling and Wi-Fi tested separately until the real culprit is cornered.
We find whether it's the plan, the NBN tech at your address, the router or the Wi-Fi - and fix it.
Configured securely, placed where it measurably works, no default passwords left behind.
Internet live for day one, Wi-Fi planned to the floor plan, everything connected once, properly.
Licensed data cabling run and terminated to the TV, office, shed or whole fit-out.
Connecting or switching instead? See NBN setup; if the computer's the patient, that's computer repair.
The visit
A speed test beside the router doesn't explain a dead room or a dropout at 3 pm. We narrow the fault down one part at a time, then test the fix where the problem was happening.
Which rooms, devices and times are affected tells us whether to start at the connection, router, cable or Wi-Fi coverage.
We compare the incoming service, a wired connection and Wi-Fi where you actually use it. That stops one weak link being blamed for everything.
That may be configuration, router placement, a mesh unit, a cabled access point, data cabling or a fault that needs to go back to the provider.
We reconnect the priority devices, test the problem areas again and explain what changed before the visit is wrapped up.
The difference
Most technicians can only see half the problem. Here's what changes when the tech and the telco are the same team.
As an internet provider with field techs, we test the whole path - network to the furthest room.
Because we run the connection and the Wi-Fi, there's no provider to point at - we test the whole path and fix whatever's actually wrong.
We'll tell you what your address can actually get - and carry the connection ourselves if you want.
Run by Graham Hand, who teaches telecoms at TAFE NSW and wrote the McGraw-Hill cabling textbook.
Before the technician arrives
Note where the problem happens, which devices are affected and whether it follows a time or weather pattern. Don't reset the router just before the visit unless the connection is unusable - its current state can help us see the fault.
Make the router and NBN equipment accessible and have any provider or Wi-Fi login details you already hold nearby. If a shed, office or upstairs room needs coverage, point that out when booking so cabling and access can be discussed before the clock starts.
On-site is billed by time (inc GST); parts and cabling are quoted first, and quick problems are often solved on the phone free. Full costs - plans, phones, repair, support - are on our pricing page.

On-site starts at $169.60 for a 60-minute visit (inc GST), with 90 and 120-minute visits for bigger jobs. Most single faults are fixed in the first hour; parts or cabling are quoted first.
Yes - Telstra, Optus, TPG, anyone. And if the fault is on their side, you'll get it in plain English so their helpdesk can't wave you away.
We'll tell you honestly. Plenty of "slow internet" calls just need the router in a better spot - either way you get the reason, not just a bill.
Based in Emu Plains, covering Penrith, Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains daily - usually same-day or next business day, and many jobs get triaged over the phone first. Call 1300 458 348.
Yes. Business Wi-Fi means floor or yard coverage, separate guest and staff networks, and cabled, managed access points - we design, cable and support it.
Sometimes, but placement and the link between mesh units matter. A cabled access point can be the better answer for difficult layouts, outbuildings or business coverage. We test the site before recommending either.
A single router setup or isolated fault may fit the first hour. Multiple rooms, several devices, mesh configuration, cabling checks or more than one fault need longer. Tell us the symptoms and layout when booking so the visit can be scoped properly.
One local team for the lot
Glue IT is a telco as well as your IT team. Business internet and our nbn plans on the same bill, from the same people who answer the phone. Plans start at $68/mo with no lock-in.
Tell us what it's doing - or not doing. We'll triage it on the phone, and if it needs a visit, a local tech turns up with the right gear to end it.
