Internet & Wi-Fi technician · on-site

An internet technician who finds the real fault.

Dropouts, dead spots, slow speeds, a router nobody understands - we come out, test the whole path and fix what's actually broken. And because Glue IT is a provider too, "it's the other lot's problem" isn't an answer we can give.

On-site across Penrith, Western Sydney & the Blue Mountains - from $169.60 inc GST.

What we fix and set up

Home or business, any provider. If it's between the street and your screen, it's our job.

Wi-Fi dead spots

Coverage measured room by room, then fixed with proper mesh or a cabled access point.

Dropouts & random disconnects

Line, router, cabling and Wi-Fi tested separately until the real culprit is cornered.

Slow internet

We find whether it's the plan, the NBN tech at your address, the router or the Wi-Fi - and fix it.

Router & mesh setup

Configured securely, placed where it measurably works, no default passwords left behind.

New home & office setup

Internet live for day one, Wi-Fi planned to the floor plan, everything connected once, properly.

Extra network points & cabling

Licensed data cabling run and terminated to the TV, office, shed or whole fit-out.

Connecting or switching instead? See NBN setup; if the computer's the patient, that's computer repair.

The difference

A Wi-Fi tech from an actual internet provider.

Most technicians can only see half the problem. Here's what changes when the tech and the telco are the same team.

We can see both sides of the modem

As an internet provider with field techs, we test the whole path - network to the furthest room.

One team owns the line and your gear

Because we run the connection and the Wi-Fi, there's no provider to point at - we test the whole path and fix whatever's actually wrong.

If your provider is the problem, that's fixable too

We'll tell you what your address can actually get - and carry the connection ourselves if you want.

Cabling to the textbook | literally

Run by Graham Hand, who teaches telecoms at TAFE NSW and wrote the McGraw-Hill cabling textbook.

Straight rates, quoted before we start.

On-site is billed by time (inc GST); parts and cabling are quoted first, and quick problems are often solved on the phone free. Full costs - plans, phones, repair, support - are on our pricing page.

Internet & Wi-Fi technician - common questions

How much does a Wi-Fi technician cost?

On-site starts at $169.60 for a 60-minute visit (inc GST), with 90 and 120-minute visits for bigger jobs. Most single faults are fixed in the first hour; parts or cabling are quoted first.

Can you fix my internet if I'm with another provider?

Yes - Telstra, Optus, TPG, anyone. And if the fault is on their side, you'll get it in plain English so their helpdesk can't wave you away.

Do I need a new router, or is mine fine?

We'll tell you honestly. Plenty of "slow internet" calls just need the router in a better spot - either way you get the reason, not just a bill.

How quickly can you come out?

Based in Emu Plains, covering Penrith, Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains daily - usually same-day or next business day, and many jobs get triaged over the phone first. Call 1300 458 348.

Can you sort Wi-Fi for a business - warehouse, shop or office?

Yes. Business Wi-Fi means floor or yard coverage, separate guest and staff networks, and cabled, managed access points - we design, cable and support it.

One local team for the lot

We already look after your tech - we can carry your internet too.

Glue IT is a telco as well as your IT team. Business internet and our nbn plans on the same bill, from the same people who answer the phone. Plans start at $68/mo with no lock-in.

Sick of fighting your internet?

Tell us what it's doing - or not doing. We'll triage it on the phone, and if it needs a visit, a local tech turns up with the right gear to end it.
