Fair Use & Acceptable Use Policy
This policy keeps our network fast and fair for everyone. It explains how our plans and services may be used, what isn’t allowed, and applies alongside your Terms & Conditions.
Effective 5 July 2026. Provided by Glue IT, a registered business name of Graham Peter Hand (ABN 69 317 210 850, registered for GST), Penrith NSW 2750.
Fair use of ‘unlimited’ plans
Our unlimited data plans are for normal business and personal use. There’s no data cap and no excess-data charge - but ‘unlimited’ doesn’t mean the service may be used in a way that harms the network or other customers. In particular, you agree not to:
- resell, share or on-supply the service to people outside your premises or business without our written agreement;
- run the connection in a way designed purely to generate artificial traffic; or
- use it as a substitute for a wholesale or carrier-grade transit service.
Speeds are typical maximums and aren’t guaranteed - real-world speed depends on the technology at your address, your equipment and network congestion, especially in the busy evening period.
Acceptable use
When you use a Glue IT service, you agree to use it lawfully and not to use it to:
- break any law, or send, store or access anything illegal;
- send spam or bulk unsolicited messages, or run phishing, scam or fraudulent activity;
- gain (or try to gain) unauthorised access to any system, or spread malware;
- infringe anyone’s intellectual property or other rights;
- harass, threaten, defame or abuse others; or
- interfere with, damage or place an undue load on our network or a carrier’s network.
You’re responsible for how the service is used by anyone you allow to use it.
If the policy is breached
If we reasonably believe a service is being used in breach of this policy, we may contact you, ask you to stop, and - for serious, repeated or unlawful breaches - shape, suspend or restrict the service, or in serious cases end it, as set out in your Terms & Conditions. Where we can, we’ll give you reasonable notice first; where we can’t (for example for network security, safety or legal reasons), we may act immediately and tell you as soon as practical.
